YouTube bypasses VPNs that Google can control

YouTube -- and presumably the rest of Chrome -- is now ignoring my VPN proxy extensions. Prior to twenty-four hours ago, if my Google account was signed out, YouTube's "home page" was in the language of some VPN country with nothing to indicate my viewing history. Now, with my Google account off, I get the YouTube/Google home page tailored specifically for my Chromebook laptop account, even though a VPN is switched on.

I suppose what that means is that Chrome/Google engineers have added code to bypass the VPNs I add to my Chrome extensions -- without my permission or even telling me of any company change in policy. What that also means is that Chrome/Google can share my viewing results with anyone it likes as if the VPNs did not even exist.

Needed: politically neutral NewTube

YouTube/Google is abusing its media dominance by striking politically unwelcome videos from its system. YouTube/Google's claim of "objectionable content" is a transparent rationalization for suppression of dissent.

It is very important that users and viewers have another America-based option. Otherwise, those who wish to see videos that have not been politically filtered will be forced to use a host based in another part of the world, a host possibly covertly controlled by Red China or Stalin-sympathizing Russia.

YouTube/Google's crackdown on dissent is a national security threat.

The Southern Poverty Law Center, which began as an effort to safeguard rights, is now at work attempting to stifle the right of dissent with loose smears of those who don't agree with its -- not always stated but deducible -- political views, according to Fox News personalities and others. The center works for Google as media content police, according to the Fox reports.

If Alex Jones of InfoWars has not misrepresented the facts, YouTube/Google re-deleted videos that it had restored on grounds of errors in judgment by its censors. Bloomberg News had earlier reported that YouTube admitted that its censors had erred, and ordered some videos restored.

Such an aboutface implies that Google was forced to restore the censorship at the behest of the Deep State and its extremist allies. A check of YouTube's search engine a few minutes ago for the "objectionable" videos showed nothing on the first page of results.
